  • Terry helps you learn coping methods and how to implement them into your daily life.

What should I bring to my first appointment? 
  • Please bring cash, credit card, or check.

How often will I need to be seen? 
  • This will vary with every client. Some clients may need to be seen weekly, while others may only need to be seen biweekly or monthly.

What if I have to cancel an appointment?
  • Please contact Terry at least 24 hours before your appointment. 
​​
How long will an appointment be?
  • Appointments typically last one hour. ​
​
Is my information safe with Terry?
  • Yes. Terry is bound by HIPAA laws and her license to maintain confidentiality. However, Terry is legally obligated to notify Child Protective Services if she suspects any type of child abuse. Terry is also legally obligated to notify emergency services if you are an immediate threat to yourself and/or others.

What insurance does Terry accept?
  • Terry currently accepts UPMC, Highmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, United Healthcare, and Aetna. You do not have to have insurance to schedule an appointment with Terry. ​Cash sessions are $55.
​
Is counseling for me?
  • Yes. Counseling is for everyone, at every stage of your life.
